- 6 medium Russet Potatoes (peeled and cubed)
- 4 cups Chicken Broth (or Vegetable Broth)
- 1 cup Milk (or Cream, or non-dairy alternative)
- 1 tsp Salt (or to taste)
Instructions
- Step 1: Place the cubed potatoes and chicken broth in a large pot. Associate with Russet Potatoes, Chicken Broth
- Step 2: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are very tender. Associate with Russet Potatoes
- Step 3: Remove from heat and use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth and creamy. Alternatively, carefully transfer the soup to a regular blender in batches and blend until smooth. Return to the pot. Associate with None
- Step 4: Stir in the milk. Associate with Milk
- Step 5: Season with salt to taste. Add pepper, if desired. Associate with Salt
- Step 6: Serve hot and garnish with your favorite toppings. Associate with None
